What estimate has the Government made of increase in childcare settings required to deliver 20 hours of universal free childcare from 9 months old?

I am working closely with officials to establish an expert steering group and a childcare taskforce in the Welsh civil service to firmly determine phased delivery of the new childcare offer.
Expansion of the workforce and growth within the sector is central to delivery and we are developing detailed projections with economists and analysts to outline the number of staff required and the areas in which they will be needed, working with the sector, local authorities and other partners.
