Will the Cabinet Secretary formally notify developers who have signed the Welsh Government building safety developer remediation pact of the fact that Remediation Orders and Remediation Contribution Orders will be accessible to Welsh residents in 2027?
I have written to key stakeholders, including developers who have signed the contract with the Welsh Government, about the legislative developments which will impact building safety in Wales. I encouraged them to engage in the next steps of implementation and invited them to attend the webinars Welsh Government has planned to explain the upcoming changes. Officials will continue to engage with signatories to the contract to ensure they are fully aware Remediation Orders and Remediation Contribution Orders will be available to Welsh residents once the relevant regulations come into force.
