What is the Welsh Government doing to ensure businesses can access clear information about upcoming public-sector infrastructure projects?
The Welsh Government publishes an annual pipeline of infrastructure projects meeting a commitment we made in the 2021 Wales Infrastructure Investment Strategy. The pipeline provides insights into the infrastructure investments that we, and our delivery partners, intend to deliver over the short to medium term.
The pipeline was last published in February 2025 and the 2026 version will be published alongside the Final Budget 2026-27. Current and previous versions are freely accessible via the Welsh Government website.
Public bodies that expect to spend more than £100 million on relevant contracts in the coming financial year must publish a Pipeline Notice within 56 days of the start of that year, setting out details of all planned procurements over £2 million for the next 18 months. That information is published and available on Sell2Wales.
