Will the Cabinet Secretary outline how it came to be that notifications were sent out in error on 7 October to farmers cancelling their bookings for the Sustainable Farming Scheme Information Roadshow on 8 October in Builth Wells despite the event proceeding, and confirm how many people received such notification?
We have had some technical difficulties with the registration website for these events. Seven individuals received the cancellation notification for the event in Builth Wells on 8 October. Those individuals also received a separate email apologising for the confusion, and to confirm the event was still taking place. We have since issued messages on social media confirming all events are still taking place as advertised. We have also shared messaging with stakeholders, so they are aware if their members raise any questions.
