The fuel poverty budget is being used to ensure our advice and support is reaching the people who need it most. During 2025-26 we are using the budget both to provide direct support to individuals, for example by increasing the number of fuel poverty vouchers available through the Fuel Bank Foundation, and to ensure our policies and interventions are based on sound and up to date evidence, for example by procuring revised fuel poverty estimates.
