Will the Cabinet Secretary confirm how many woodlands have received National Forest status, broken down by month since 2020?
Over the past five years over 150 sites have received National Forest for Wales Status. These sites are made up of 70 sites through the Status Scheme which are brought in quarterly, two Covid-19 Commemorative Woodland sites added in March 2025, 23 Coetiroedd Bach sites added in April 2025 and 26 Welsh Government Woodland Estate blocks made up of many separate woodland sites brought in over two phases.
