Will the Cabinet Secretary confirm how the response given to WQ97074 is consistent with the information contained in the Welsh Government's SLCM (No 3) on the Social Housing (Regulation) Bill that there are approximately 530 homes in Wales owned and managed by English registered social landlords?
The Welsh Government does not hold current information on the total number of homes in Wales that are owned and managed by English Housing Associations. This is held by the Regulator of Social Housing, from whom information was requested in 2022 to support consideration of SLCM (No 3) on the Social Housing (Regulation) Bill.
As at November 2022, there were approximately 530 homes in Wales owned and managed by English registered social landlords, however this figure will have changed as there have been sales and transfers between housing associations since this time.
