The annual Wellbeing of Wales report sets out how we measure progress toward the national milestones and provides an update on progress. This includes the national milestones relating to employment rates and the global footprint of Wales. Welsh Ministers may at any time review and revise the national indicators and milestones. Data for relevant national indicators has been updated when available and the 2025 report is scheduled for release in October.
The Welsh Government recognises that harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence and data-driven technologies offers us opportunities to deliver better outcomes for citizens and strengthen the Welsh economy. We will, however, continue to advocate for responsible innovation and the ethical application of these emerging technologies across Wales.
