What percentage of homes in Wales have solar panels installed?

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) issues certificates of accreditation to installations of small-scale decarbonisation works such as rooftop solar panels. Since its inception in 2007 there have been 119,672 accredited domestic solar panel installations, equating to approximately 8.5% of homes in Wales. 12,347 of those installations have taken place this calendar year alone.
