What assessment has the Welsh Government made of the potential impact of the UK Government's Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment Bill on people in Wales?

I welcome the UK Government’s amendments to the Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment Bill. These amendments mean that the comprehensive review of Personal Independence Payment will have been concluded before any changes are introduced to the working-age disability benefits system. In addition, existing recipients of the Universal Credit health element and new claimants meeting the criteria for the most severe and lifelong conditions will have their income fully protected in real terms.

I look forward to our continued collaboration with the UK Government to ensure any welfare reforms are developed and delivered in a person centred and compassionate manner.
