Has the Welsh Government considered joining the same restricted zone designation as England for bluetongue disease in order to minimise disruption and protect livestock welfare and market operations?

I held a Bluetongue roundtable meeting with senior representatives of the livestock and veterinary sectors on 5 June. I listened to their views and will consider them carefully before deciding on a proportionate policy for future Bluetongue control. I will announce my decision on 12 June.
