When will the new road safety strategy be published?

I am establishing a National Road Safety Board, made up of key stakeholders and partners that will adopt a ‘Partnership Plan for Road Safety’ in Wales. It will integrate road safety with wider transport policy, collaborating with public health, environment and decarbonisation and social justice.
This will align with international best practice, adopting Vision Zero principles based on the Safe System approach. The Board will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating efforts among stakeholders and monitoring progress.
The Road Safety Partnership Plan will be published later this year.
