Our Future Grids for Wales report showed that the demand for electricity in Wales is expected to increase by 300% by 2050.
We are working with the National Energy System Operator, network operators and the UK Government to ensure new energy infrastructure is delivered in time to meet the growth in demand for electricity across all sectors in Wales. We are working actively with data centre operators and network operators to ensure infrastructure supports the growing demands of date centres.
