Will the First Minister confirm whether any Welsh Government members or officials have given evidence to the UK Climate Change Committee, and if so, who and when did the evidence session take place?

The Welsh Government has a collaborative relationship with the Climate Change Committee, while respecting their role as an independent body. It is of benefit to both the CCC and to Wales that the evidence the CCC bases its recommendations upon, is the most rounded it can be. As a consequence, officials meet the CCC regularly to exchange evidence and data, which the CCC can then consider. It is for the CCC to consider whether the evidence or data provided by the Welsh Government is material to their recommendations. The CCC also conduct formal consultations from time to time. The Welsh Government has a role in publicising the consultations with stakeholders.
