Will the Cabinet Secretary provide the latest information regarding the Bro Myrddin Wellbeing Hwb, including a) how many young people have been supported so far, b) the total investment by the Welsh Government in the Hwb and c) the next steps?
Since December 2022, Hywel Dda University Health Board has received £700,000 of capital funding and £1,385,000 of revenue funding, supporting the Bro Myrddin Wellbeing Hub and outreach provision in Aberystwyth and Haverfordwest.
This project is part of our commitment to test alternatives to admission for young people in crisis to prevent escalation, of which there is one project in each health board area. The projects will be evaluated over the next 12 months to inform our next steps.
The Welsh Government does not hold operational data on the current level of activity in the Bro Myrddin Wellbeing Hub so this would need to be requested directly from the health board.
