Overall 198 projects have been supported by the Invest to Save fund since its inception in 2009. 15 Welsh Government projects have received investment of £41m, resulting in estimated savings of £170m. Loan repayments from the invest to save fund continue to be recycled to deliver savings for Public services in Wales.
An independent evaluation of the Invest to Save Fund was carried out in 2014 and it estimated that around £3 of gross cash releasing benefits are generated for each £1 invested.
