What plans does the Welsh Government have to convene a learner travel summit following their review of the Learner Travel (Wales) Measure 2008?
I will be hosting a Learner Travel Summit on 28th March 2025.
The Cabinet Secretary for Education, Minister for Higher and Further Education and the Cabinet Secretary for Housing and Local Government will also be in attendance reflecting the cross governmental approach we think is required for this important area. Invitations to the Summit were sent to delivery partners and key stakeholders last week. All political parties in the Senedd have been invited. I look forward to this being the beginning of a collaborative and productive discussion for us to collectively understand the challenges and explore the opportunities for improvement.
