Will the Cabinet Secretary outline when the literacy expert panel, set up in December 2024, is due to produce a final report?

As set out in my written statement of 4 October 2024, the role of the expert panel is to review and inform our steps to improve literacy in Wales. This ensures all of our support is firmly based in the clear evidence on how learners develop reading and their wider literacy skills. The panel is offering advice, evidence and challenge to officials on the policy development of this programme of work on an ongoing basis, and on that basis will not produce a final report.
