I know that the recent proposals by Cardiff University will have caused concern for affected staff and students. As an autonomous institution, Cardiff University is responsible for its own academic affairs.
The predominant focus of the National Music Service’s work programme is to support music education provision in schools and settings. The Service, led by the Welsh Local Government Association as the lead body, continues to provide information for young people on routes to higher education and music specialist courses.
