Will the Cabinet Secretary provide the expected timetable between now and the end of this Senedd term for the publication of the findings of the Dwyfor second homes pilot?
The Dwyfor second homes and affordability pilot evaluation comprises three stages: an exploratory phase (phase one), process phase (phase two) and impact phase (phase three). The findings from phase one will be published on 28 January, 2025. Phase two findings are due to be published early in 2026, and the final report, beyond this Senedd term, is scheduled for publication early in 2027.
The phase one report was provided to the Welsh Government in December 2024. This has since undergone quality assurance and translation, as per the Government Social Research Publication Protocol.
