The Equality and Human Rights Commission has the responsibility to protect and promote equality and human rights across England and Wales. The Welsh Government encourages public consultation and citizen participation as part of its policy making processes. This allows individuals and public sector organisations to express their opinions on proposed legislation and public sector organisations to express their opinions on proposed legislation and policies.
