What steps is the Welsh Government taking in response to the misuse of rat poison leading to the poisoning of birds of prey?

Answered by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs | Answered on 19/11/2024

The Welsh Government is responsible for the Wildlife Incident Investigation Scheme in Wales which provides analysis services for wildlife, companion animals and honeybees suspected of being poisoned by pesticides. Welsh Government officials work closely with Welsh Police Rural Crime Teams to investigate cases where it is suspected that pesticides have been misused or abused.
