What consideration has the Cabinet Secretary given to asking existing local authorities in north-east Wales to manage the new national park instead of creating a new national park authority?

Should NRW recommend that a National Park be designated, and Welsh Ministers agree, the existing legislation is structured to create a National Park Authority to manage the National Park. We have no plans to amend the current legislation in the immediate future.
