Mandatory Religion, Values and Ethics (RVE) is a mandatory element of the curriculum.
Mandatory Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) is a cross-cutting theme and the RSE Code sets out learning at developmentally appropriate phases.
Estyn Inspectors evaluate how well schools design and deliver a curriculum that provides pupils with a suitable breadth and depth of learning across all areas of learning and experience including the delivery of RVE and RSE.
