Will the Cabinet Secretary provide an update on the Wales Wildlife and Rural Crime Strategy?

Answered by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs | Answered on 25/10/2024

The Wales Wildlife & Rural Strategy is a comprehensive plan developed in collaboration with the four police areas in Wales to address key rural crime issues in Wales. The All Wales Wildlife and Rural Crime Coordinator, a post which is funded by the Welsh Government, is leading on facilitating the strategy.

Wales is leading the way in terms of tackling rural crime with our Coordinator being asked to advise how our approach can be replicated across the UK.
