Will the Government examine the necessity of the Hendre Lakes development, given that Great Western Railway has said it would not use the proposed Cardiff Parkway station attached to the Hendre Lakes business park proposal, and the location is not well served by existing bus and cycle routes?

The planning application is under active consideration and a decision will be issued in due course. As this is a live call-in case it would be inappropriate for the Welsh Ministers at this stage to provide any comment on the merits of the application in order to avoid prejudicing the final decision.
