How will the Welsh Government support Conwy County Borough Council with their predicted shortfall of £23 million in 2025-26?

Welsh Government will continue to prioritise frontline public services, including local government, as far as possible in our forthcoming budget decisions in order to deliver the First Minister's four priorities. I acknowledge the challenges that some councils are facing and I welcome the pragmatic way we are working together with local government to ensure we do all we can within the funding available. The draft budget will be published in December.
