Will the Cabinet Secretary expand on how the Welsh Government intends to use the private sector to support the delivery of health services in west Wales, in light of the First Minister’s comments to ITV Wales on 23 September 2024?

The commissioning of additional NHS services is the responsibility of health boards. They have been instructed to use all possible options to support local plans to clear long waits; this may include the use of the private sector.
