What will the Welsh Government do to ensure that public transport is accessible to people without digital access or skills?

Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales | Answered on 30/09/2024

Although, digital paying methods are widely accepted and used by people in their everyday lives, we recognise this isn’t the case for everyone. Ticket buying facilities for people who can't access digital methods to pay will continue to be available on public transport in Wales, including ticket machines at stations.

If you are at a train station and there are no ticket buying machine facilities available, passengers can pay on the train.
