What discussions has the Welsh Government had with the UK Government about the legalisation of assisted dying?

Lord Faulkner’s private member’s Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults Bill had its first reading in the House of Lords in July 2024 and is at a very early stage in its passage. We are in contact with the UK Government about the issue and we are monitoring progress of the Bill closely.
