How long does the Cabinet Secretary expect the statutory Traffic Regulation Order process to take, when highways authorities decide to adjust speed limits on certain roads?

We are continuing to support highway authorities in the implementation phase of assessing roads, making of traffic regulation orders and finally in the implementation of changes on the ground. The time each authority takes to do this will vary due to such factors as the number of roads being considered, number of objections received and their own procedures for processing the Orders.
