The first round of Transforming Towns Loans was awarded in 2015 and are not due to be repaid until 2030. However, £5m of Transforming Towns Loans have been repaid to date ahead of the loan agreement. As the Transforming Towns Loan scheme budget is Financial Transaction Capital (FTC), the funds repaid from borrowers must be returned to HM Treasury.
A total of £102m has been allocated to local authorities to date, under the Transforming Towns programme.
This is recorded at a local authority level, not a constituency level.
