The Welsh in Education BEL, which stands at £6.511m as published in the restated Final Budget 2024-25 on 18 June, supports activities relating to the educational elements of Cymraeg 2050 including:
- funding for Mudiad Meithrin and Cwlwm to increase Welsh-medium childcare provision as a pathway into Welsh-medium education;
- the planning of Welsh-medium education and implementation of the new 10-year Welsh in Education Strategic Plans (WESPs), including the funding of RhAG;
- commissioning of teaching and learning resources including funding for Adnodd;
- funding e-sgol, a blended learning initiative that delivers online teaching and learning opportunities using direct, real-time, and interactive learning approaches.
