What steps is the Cabinet Secretary taking to make the funding formula for councils fairer across north Wales?

The Government is committed to continuing to use and maintain a fair and transparent funding formula for local authorities across Wales, which is agreed with local government. There is no evidence that any authority with particular geographical or social characteristics is disadvantaged by the local government funding formula. There is an ongoing programme of work to review and update the formula and the data used within it through the distribution sub-group agreed and overseen by local government the Finance Sub-group.
