Over the last 12 months there has been an overall increase in care home beds across Wales. However, there will be regional variation in bed capacity across Wales.
The total number of care home beds across children and adult services in Wales has increased by 1.1% between 31 March 2024 (26,350 beds) and 31 March 2023 (26,068 beds).
