Will the Cabinet Secretary confirm what plans the Welsh Government has for vaccinating in the face of the latest strain and the reports about the spread of MPox?

We are working closely with the other nations of the UK to ensure the development of a co-ordinated and proportionate vaccination response to the outbreak of clade I mpox across a number of African countries. We established, at pace, a successful Welsh vaccination programme targeting those most at risk in response to the previous outbreak of mpox in the UK in 2022. This past experience provides us with a sound basis on which to take further action, should the clinical and scientific advice suggest that this is necessary.
