Is the Cabinet Secretary aware of the issue of planning applications underway in Pontyclun that could lead to thousands more HGVs driving through the area each year?

Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council has received a planning application for development of an aggregates recovery facility at an operational quarry in Talygarn, Pontyclun.
The Welsh Ministers have received a request to call in this application for their own determination and have issued a direction under Article 18(1) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Wales) Order 2012. This prevents the Council from granting planning permission for the development whilst consideration is being given to the call-in request.
