Welsh Government funding for the arts is channelled through the Arts Council of Wales who operate at arm’s length from government.
ACW undertook a review on the impact on local authorities during its Investment Review last year, which was published as part of The Investment Review 2023 Report and Decisions.
ACW continues to consider how gaps in funding following the Investment Review, including geographically, can be addressed as part of its strategic interventions.
