Providing appropriate national guidance for schools in Wales to support trans, nonbinary and gender questioning children and young people in education is a Welsh Government commitment. All learners need support to feel valued, included, and safe and ensuring their wellbeing is our main priority.
I recently answered a OQ61234 from Laura Anne Jones about guidance for schools following the Cass review. The reply to that question sets out the current position.
