Further to WQ93166, will the Cabinet Secretary set out the timescale for completion of the noise mitigation strategy for the strategic road network, and what consideration has been given to a temporary reduction in the speed limit on the A55 Trunk Road in Llanddulas in the interim?

The noise mitigation strategy will require an assessment of all trunk roads in Wales and then for them to be prioritised. This work should be finished by then end of this financial year (FY24/25).
Temporary speed limits will not be considered for introduction on the strategic road network whilst the prioritisation exercise is being completed, due to the short space of time between now and the end of the work being undertaken.
