Will the Welsh Government raise the maximum income threshold for eligibility for a personal learning account to reflect the 2023-34 median Welsh income of £32,371?

The income threshold for the Personal Learning Account is reviewed annually. Looking forwards to 2024/25 delivery, PLA Guidance has been updated to reflect the 2023-24 median income in Wales. In addition, there are PLA targeted intervention strands (e.g. Net Zero, Digital) whereby the wage criteria is not applied to eligibility.
