Was the former Minister of Social Partnership given an opportunity to respond to the allegation made against her before she was sacked?

I asked the Permanent Secretary for advice on the process to be followed on handling a breach of the Ministerial Code and I have acted accordingly. I will not be disclosing further details of confidential matters relating to the appointment and removal of ministers.
