What is the Government doing to help homeless people get back into housing?

As outlined in the Programme for Government and our Ending Homelessness Action Plan, we are strongly committed to moving from a position of reliance on temporary accommodation, to a system focused on prevention and rapid rehousing. We are investing a record amount in Social Housing this government term, over £1.4bn, to deliver our target of 20,000 additional homes for rent in the social sector.
