Does the Welsh Government have plans for a similar commitment for additional diabetes care funding following a recent announcement from the Scottish Government of about £6.8 million of additional funding for advanced technology in diabetes care, with similar dedicated funding ring-fenced in England?

The NHS Executive is already working with health boards in Wales to develop a five-year plan to implement the recommendation of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence on hybrid closed loop systems for people with type 1 diabetes within the resources being made available to health boards over that period.
