What consideration has the Cabinet Secretary given to scrapping plans entirely for school holiday reform following further opposition to the plans from school unions?

As outlined in my Oral Statement on 4 June 2024, I have considered the findings of the recent Consultation on the School Year. While we remain committed to exploring the school year to improve the education of disadvantaged learners, the responses to the consultation were very mixed and equivocal. As such, I confirmed that any decisions on implementing any change would be for the next Senedd term.
