What work is the Welsh Government undertaking to reduce the ethnicity pay gap?

Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Culture and Social Justice | Answered on 04/06/2024

Our commitment to social partnership and fair work is providing us with the opportunity to engage with employers and trade unions in promoting workplace equality, diversity and inclusion and action to address pay gaps. We are also working with our public sector partners, including through the Workforce Partnership Council, to deliver our national milestone for the elimination of the gender, ethnicity and disability pay gap by 2050.

Work is also being driven across Welsh Government through our Employability and Skills Plan, our Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan and our work to promote Real Living Wage adoption and accreditation.
