The Welsh Government is committed to tackling illegal off-roading in Wales, which presents a considerable issue for our habitats and wildlife. Our Welsh Habitats strategic group has identified this as a priority, and has established ‘Operation Taurus Cymru’ to coordinate police and partner agencies to proactively target offenders and deal with them robustly, with regular operations and associated publicity across Wales.
