What is the Welsh Government doing to support the road haulage industry in Wales?

The Welsh Government recognises the importance of the road haulage industry in supporting the Welsh economy. We are working with the industry to develop a new Freight & Logistics Plan for Wales. There are already a number of skills and employability support initiatives available, including ReAct+, The Flexible Skills Programme, Apprenticeships and employer support and the Personal Learning Account Programme. As well as our business support offer. We have also reopened our HGV parking facility at Parc Cybi, Holyhead in recognition of the importance of such facilities to the road haulage industry.
