It is our intention to pursue changes to legislation to enable local authorities to tackle anti-social parking, including on pavements, and to raise awareness of the needs of vulnerable road users and the safety implications of misusing road and pavement space. We are in dialogue with local authorities and other stakeholders about when and how best to achieve these ambitions.
