What discussions has the Minister had with local authorities to expand after-school clubs?

We continue to engage with local authorities on a range of issues, including supporting the provision of enriching activities for learners, in and around the school day.
The more general offer around after school provision is for individual schools and there are a range of organisations that they can work with in delivering that offer. Through our Community Focused Schools policy, we are supporting schools through a range of guidance and funding to develop their approaches.
